Gary has been building quality homes in North and South Carolina for more than two decades. He began his homebuilding career as a laborer (while in high school) and on week-ends and summer holidays for a major homebuilder. After graduating from Western Carolina University, he continued to grow his career with the builder from sales, to warranty management, to estimating and finally to project management.

He was then appointed to the position of President for this same builder, a position he held for several years. However his dream was and is to own his own building company. That is how GARVER HOMES came to life. Gary is one of those rare people who think of home building as a way to create something that can bring people happiness and security.
